I try to wear decent clothes now a days if I go out in public. Mainly because I am embarrassed for society when I go to Bucee's and see how everyone looks.

don't assume how someone dresses matches their finances - I've met plenty of examples at both extremes over the years

I use to be able to dress nice but with inflation I wear whatever I can find at the Salvation Army.

Nope. I have 3 pairs of jeans, some t-shirts, some flannel shirts, some shorts, and a few polos & button ups.

That about does it for my wardrobe.

Used to be a HS coach, now a school administrator. I'm in business casual pretty much every day. Weekends I'm shorts and a T-Shirt. I ain't tryin to impress on my little bit of time off.

Suits no tie during the week. It's required

On the weekends, anytime out of the house it's nice pants, shirt shoes. I used to wear sandals and shorts. Don't wear shorts out of the house anymore.

OK.

And again, you don't have to spend a lot of money to avoid looking sloppy. You have a weird fixation on money.

No kidding...spend much time in the oil patch or a farming region and you'll find a lot of folks who appear to be financially ruined who can buy and sell folks on Wall Street...you gotta look at their kids...they will tell the tell. Mama and daddy look like they just walked across the desert, son driving a $100K truck and wearing designer clothes....

Polo and slacks at work everyday. Gym shorts and a tshirt at home if I'm lounging. Overalls and a ball cap if i'm working outside.

Unless going to the gym, whatever I wear has to fit the gun belt. I have five pairs of the exact same (including color) shorts that support this.
