I use my work email as my catch all email so I check it every so often even if I’m at home.

I mostly work from home these days so obviously I do during business hours but I never look at it again until the next morning once I sign out for the day.

Yes I do, but usually only read and say I will deal with that tomorrow.

Why not create a free gmail account instead?

If I check work email after I get off, I'll suddenly feel responsible for things that can clearly wait until the morning. No one expects problems to be solved or questions answered at 7:30pm- they're just sending it so they don't forget

Don’t have the option to log in, outside of work. Only management can do that

I rarely check my email at all unless somebody calls or texts and says they sent me something

Only after a hurricane or something, where I need to find out the status of the office.

Otherwise hell to the no.

Didn't you learn anything from John Gruden?

Not really. I have separate personal and work phones, and my work phone gets put away and I disconnect when I get home.

I'll check it maybe once after dinner, which is nothing more than a quick glance at the lock screen, just to make sure there is no emergency.

Only reason I do so if off the clock is if I am waiting for something important or I am sending in leave.

Once I log out for the day, I’m done unless there is a very good reason otherwise.

Pretty much the same here, except I will see a few come in on my phone after hours. Unless it is important, I don't actually open the app and read it fully.

I need to be aware of what's happening so, yes, I check it often. I'll only deal with what I have to afterhours, but definitely am aware of new email and have my phone set so I can see email notifications.

I should but I don't. If a customer needs immediate assistance and doesn't call our after hours phone number that is widely distributed, then that is on them.

Yes I do.
It’s part of my job.
