Depends. A lot of days I either have business lunches or will be in a meeting where lunch is provided. But if this is not the case and I have leftovers, I’ll bring my lunch. If I don’t have leftovers then I’ll go out.

Also, if I do bring my lunch I always eat in my office.

Nope. Three squares a day. Unlimited desserts. Unlimited drinks. Also have break food trays at 09:00 and 15:00.

Monday-Thursday I do, Friday I'll step out with the fellas for lunch.

I normally meal prep on Sunday for me and my son. I can meal prep for the 2 of us for about 15-20 and we eat relatively good.

many years ago I had a friend that flew a float plane/amphib for an oilfield related company, he'd take salesman, tool pushers, whatever they're called, out to the rigs to do their bidness, I'd go along sometimes to see what this float plane flying was like, they would always plan their day around being at the rig known for having the best cooks for lunch, from what I saw those offshore baws ate pretty well, and as they should

Probably eat out once a month, maybe. A few years back used to eat out two to three times a week when business lunch was a norm.

My lunch is most always a combo of the following:
Sandwich or salad
Snack - banana, pistachios, pretzel chips, hummus, peanut butter, carrots, chips, etc. All snacks are portioned out to a serving size as I monitor my caloric and sodium intake.

I do.

When I started going back to the office a couple of times a week last year, it went to the Whole Foods next door for some of their lunch offerings. But after spending $15 a couple of times, I said screw that.

Now I make a salad most days or left overs. And a couple pieces of fruit for the morning and later in the afternoon.

Almost every day. Usually bring in whatever leftovers we have at the house or a cold cut sandwich.

Might eat out for lunch every month or so and everytime I do, I wish I wouldn't have spent $15 on whatever the heck I chose to eat that day.

Same here but instead of going to get lunch we have it brought in...the traffic is a biotch on the northshore.

I try to skip a day so I don’t find myself eating the same thing back to back.

there's a Gentleman's club near work that offers a very healthy and affordable lunch buffet, I've tried cost comparison to try and save money by bringing lunch from home but but I'm just unable to compete with the efficiency and variety that the place has to offer, honestly I would never know that place existed if a friend hadn't told me about the lunch specials there

In over 40 years of military and working in industry, I've covered most of the bases. Lots of good meals, and some not so goods. Some brown bagging, and a lot of army and industry cafeterias/mess halls.

It changes with each job assignment or location. Just make the best of it wherever you are, and don't over do it.
