On an average day, do you normally bring your lunch from home with you to work? Or do you get food out while you’re at work? If you do get food out, how much do you think you spend on eating out weekly?

Yes. I meal prep lunches every week.

But I also get taken out to lunch a lot by contractors/consultants, so some weeks I don't eat any of my lunches, like this week, where I've had a free lunch every day.

I always bring my lunch. It's way too unhealthy to eat out daily, I don't care where you're doing it.

I usually bring my lunch 4 days per week and eat out about once. Some weeks I don't eat out at all. It sort of depends on what we have in the house to take.

No, I have a mini fridge in my office though and I keep lunch stuff in it. I go out for lunch maybe once or twice a month.

Bring lunch M-Th, and then meet my wife on Friday for a beer lunch.

I bring mine 3 days most weeks and eat out on the other two days. Trying to limit eating out to once per week. It gets expensive. You can’t eat anywhere not fast food for $14 or less.

bring my lunch 3-4 days a week. My cooking is usually way better than anything I can buy and of course much cheaper.

I walk from my desk to my fridge like I have the last 8 years while working from home.

I do this, but I also probably eat lunch with friends once a month and get takeout one other time a month.

I WFH two days per week, those days I’m eating at home. Of the three days per week I’m at my office I’ll get in on a Doordash delivery group order, and typically get a catered Jimmy Johns, Indian, pizza, BBQ, or Thai lunch several days per month.

I’ll go out to eat once per week. It allows me to decompress some, and to get out of the office for some alone time.

When I'm in the office I eat in the break room or in my office and then leave for 45 minutes or so just to get out of there. Sometimes I just ride around and burn gas

Bring my lunch 98% of the time. It is my preference. Otherwise, you eat like shitake and waste money.

I bring my lunch. I get an hour for lunch, but it takes 15 to eat, so I go chill in my truck in the back of the parking lot. Might even catch a small nap.

I was hemorrhaging money for a few weeks when my kitchen was out of commission due to plumbing problems. Meal prepping the kinds of foods I bring to work is SO much cheaper

My work provides lunch every day. We get the daily menu a few days in advance so I know which days I want to bring lunch or plan on meeting a friend somewhere.

of course, I'm also a player favorite, a coach on the field, my motor never stops running, and they have to make me leave the gym every night

THe days I go into the office I'm bringing my lunch. Cheaper and healthier than eating out.
