Your child may be the spawn of Satan, fyi.
I'm not saying the baby or any of your direct family members are evil, but I'm saying that, in all honesty, your mom probably got it on with the devil.

My sister also had a strange experience with electronics.
Several months after my mom's passing, she found a heart shaped light up magnet that was my mom's years before. It wouldn't light up anymore, but she decided to put it on her dresser as a reminder of my mom.
That night she wakes up in the middle of the night & this thing that hadn't lit up in years is blinking and flashing across the room. It kind of freaked her out, so she pried off the back and shook out the little battery.
The next night, this thing lights up again. No one else in the house at the time. The second time, she just laughed and said, "hi, Mom." She went back to sleep with it still blinking, but it was off when she woke and it's never worked since, even when she replaced the battery.

So you've met my dad?
Just kidding, he's kind of a dick, but he's no Lucifer.
As for my 2 year old being the spawn of Satan... let's just say in 20 years, I wouldn't be shocked if she made an appearance on the crazy/hot scale. She's a pretty baby, but she can destroy shite like nobody's business. We have a set of living room furniture that looked new 2 years ago, and it'll soon be put out on the curb, it's so f'ed up from her messing with it.

LOL. Actually I just got tired of typing on my phone since I'm sitting at my house, so I sat down at my computer for a minute, not knowing my husband was logged on and not me.

someone on here had a good story of him and his friend going to an abandoned church or something like that. This was years ago but was a good one.
Supposedly we had one in our old house. I talked to the guy who bought it after my realtor called and asked me if i ever had anything unusual happen. I called him and asked him what the hell was she talking about and what did he tell her. He said that his brother was able to see spirits and the day he moved in his brother came over and felt someone there. He said his brother mentioned me by name and mentioned i had a dog and different specifics that he never told his brother about me. He also heard a weird knocking noise which I also heard when living there but attributed to the house settling. Said the spirits' name was Peter.

When my grandmother had just passed away and her body had just left the house, all the family was sitting in a back room wear everyone normally socialized. We were reminiscing when I heard my grandparents's very distinct front door closing sound. People had been coming in and out of the house bringing food, so I got up without saying anything to see who this was. There is only one way through the house and I didn't pass anyone and there was no one at all outside.
I got back to everyone and my aunt asked me who it was. I said "you heard the door too? There wasn't anyone there." She said, "I guess that was your grandma walking out the door for the last time." I like to think it was.

well sure but why would you want to make that up? Don't get me wrong, it offers me comfort to know/believe that there is an afterlife and that my mother has been able to see my kids as they grow. But I also know that if I go around telling those stories to most people IRL, I'll get carted off to the loony bin.
I just choose to take it all as: nice if it's true, and don't really care to disprove it, because it hurts nothing.

You answered your own question.
I don't mean to denigrate your experiences, so by all means, continue to believe them. It's just that ghosts don't exist.

nothing really "to believe."
My daughter was born at the exact minute that I was. It's on our birth certificates.
My mother & daughter were both en caul births (though slightly different types). IDK who delivered her, but it's in my obstetrical records.
The CD player that played that song over & over was heard by lots of people. We moved to a new house and it continued to play that song with the same regularity (or hyper-regularity?) as it did at the former house. If the player hadn't just become overheated and finally quit working, it might still be playing it more often than the other 11 songs.

It's a really cool coincidence. I have an aunt and cousin (i.e., this cousin is this aunt's daughter) who have the exact same birthday, just twenty-some odd years apart (obviously). I think that's pretty cool too.

Interesting. The CD player in my car is broken too. It will play the first 30 seconds of the first track, and then will start over. Happens continuously. It's annoying. Now, if you told me that you inserted a completely different CD (say, for instance, KISS's greatest hits) and it played that same song, that would be pretty freaky.
