A group of 4-10 year olds, you give the good stuff and a few pieces, then some kid 14+, you give one piece?

I do.

My oldest quit Trick or Treating when she reached 13, this is my youngest last year, she is 12.

Teenagers should not trick or treat.

Should they also stay off your lawn?

No. I'm not handing out iphones or 50 dollar bills. It's just candy.

Personally I believe that the community should do something different for teens. Most churches usually have events where kids usually get candy.

Who cares? Stop overthinking, enjoy the holiday. Try to make some kids happier along the way

That's too much calculating for me.

I give out candy until I'm out and then the show is over.

"Desegregate" or "discriminate"? I think you mean the latter.

Anyway, I simply give the preferred candy to the kids with nice looking moms. Bonus candy if they're in costume.

I also don't really have any problems with 14 yo's trick-or-treating, though I would prefer they wore a costume. Driving age is where I'd draw the line although I'd still give them candy because who gives a shite?

Nope. The little kids usually come by early and we let them pick what they want. The parents usually limit them to 2 pieces. The older kids come later and we start giving candy out by the handful just to get rid of it.

How do you know how old they are??? For example my 8 year old is one of the tallest kids in 3rd grade, he is also taller than my 11 year old. I would get extremely livid for someone discriminating my kid because they think they know how old he is, during Halloween.

Wouldn't you rather they be trick or treating than doing something bad? Let kids get some candy.
