Never had a Dad bod, but based on my experience women are more inclined to flirt with me when I'm just in decent shape. They're more inclined to look when I'm in really good shape, but they may seem intimidated.

This is a dad bod. If you look like this or similar, your wife looks longer than she should at men who are in good shape. She's with you bc you'd have a hard time cheating on her.

The real trick is to work out regularly and eat relatively healthy BUT ALSO drink a lot of beer. This puts a nice, thin, fun coating over your midsection that says “Hey, there. I’m in shape; but I also like to have fun, and I don’t really care.”

My wife doesn’t. She gets on my arse when I don’t workout. She also runs marathons though, so a bit of the outlier most likely.
