Are you saying that if they were dangerous enough that we would've destroryed them years ago?

You can look this up. But I remember news stories relaying that NK had tested nukes underground. And the shake was from nukes.

"The world’s newest nuclear weapon possessing state, North Korea withdrew from the NPT in 2003 and conducted its first nuclear test in 2006. It has developed sophisticated nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles despite international condemnation, and diplomatic efforts to denuclearize the country have thus far been unsuccessful."

I also saw reporting that they tested a thermonuclear device. Do you know what that is?

All of this reporting has been on experts guesses. nobody really knows. And that is what NK wants. Nobody really knows except for them.

Even without nukes, they have enough conventional weapons to inflict a LOT of pain on Japan and South Korea.

They'll lose bigly if there's a war. The reason we don't take them out is the cost of victory is too high.

They are currently sending their second wave of poop balloons to S Korea. Do we really think a country that uses poop balloons is sophisticated enough to have/use nuclear weapons???

I don’t see how poop balloons have any correlation to ones ability to have a nuclear program.

If they got anything off the ground headed to the US (and I’m sure in 2024 they have the capability). The entire country wouldn’t make it through the night without becoming a giant hole in the ground. They know that.

As long as Iran is helping NK with their nuclear technology, anything is possible.

Iran sent Scientists there for years to study the Korean Program.the Koreans cannot miniaturize enough to get a warhead on a missile.

They've successfully tested ICBMs that can launch those bombs all the way to the US west coast.

I thought all of the tests were landing way short of the target.
