No, but do you exert more or less effort on a TPOS table or someone paying with a company AMEX card?

well it's kind of hard to tell as a server if the company card is going to be paying for the meal, but no I was always a fair server. But I didn't work at a place where people came in and ordered waters and ate the complementary chips and salsa and left after an hour.

I left nothing, tipped zero, when I received shite service. It boils down to overall experience. Shitty food, isn't the servers fault, rather a management issue that I'll kindly address every time.

Tipping and servers are like liberals to me. I'm fine on the individual level (have many liberal friends and do tip well, especially for good service), but as a group,

So, after 15 pages of discussion, on a Friday afternoon, before a long weekend, has anything been learned?

Personally, I tip a reasonable amount with reasonable service, and less or more depending on the other two extremes. I usually take into account if my wife is with me as she can be a real pain in the arse.

You guys have a nice weekend.

I learned to not have a discussion with Chad ever again, unless it is about Saints.

Have a good weekend everyone.

You can't play the victim card, my friend. You came in slinging insults like the worst of them.

this like all the no fappers that come on here and brag about how its been 36 hours since last fap but never do they come back and admit next day that they couldn't resist last night's urge and hang their head in shame.

I have a friend who is a professional waiter and does quite well. And I love to hear his stories. Usually from those who consider themselves quite high class and far above a waiter.

"Yes, sir, the fish of the day has fish in it."
"no, ma'am I can't hold the mushrooms from the cream of mushroom soup."

The worst is trying to talk to a table and they won't just shut up and listen. "A chimichanga is a deep fried burrito. A chimichanga is a deep fried burrito. A chimichanga is a deep fried burrito."

"I'll be right back with another round of drinks. Can I get you anything else?"
"Can I have more tea?"

Anyone who has waited tables knows these folks. If it's you, we're making fun of you in the back. But I never spit in anyone's food.

Waiters are the ones that don't want this system, which is another example of the "woe is me" attitude of servers being bull shite
Why would anyone blame them for this?

Blame them for not wanting the no tip system, or blame them from pretending like they are perpetual poor victims?

Both together is extremely hypocritical, the latter is just an excuse to bitch about nothing, like teachers who complain about having to stay at work everyday until 6pm.
