I don't know.

Have you or a loved one died from it?

It's a disease invented by trial lawyers

You're an idiot.

It's a rare and fatal cancer. nobody, including the common defense experts, argue the validity or severity of the disease.

For the most part meso cases are desired because the trusts are set up so that a lot of money can be recovered quickly with little effort. There are also viable defendants who the plaintiffs then litigate against and if they hit the defendant for punitive sit often runs in the & figures

I think it can take a long time to actually get serious. I think it was the mid 1980s when asbestos products were banned, and there are still people working to eradicate it from old buildings and stuff. Many of them will develop the disease way down the road.

I worked with it a lot when I was young,in shipyards, power plants and different types of mills.

Back in the day,it was used for all kinds of stuff, pipe insulation, fire blankets for welding and burning, etc, that shite was in the air,and the risk wasn't taken seriously back then.

I am in my 50s and don't have any symptoms yet,but I wont be surprised if it happens later on.

They are great cases because mesothelioma is a signature disease, one cause: exposure to asbestos.

And asbestos is in everything.

So you think it's not real?

Would you care to explain why you refute the scientists, doctors, OSHA,Federal Government,etc...?

Did you once own a brake pad factory?

fricked up the clutch in a 72 Chevy pickup. Unbolted the pan over it, and ground up asbestos clutch dust fell all over my face. Had to spit it out.

I figure it's gonna get me one day.

That is a very long time to live with it. Most people go down fast once symptoms start to show themselves

Most people that were exposed to large amounts of asbestos are probably already dead. I realize there is still asbestos in plants, buildings, etc. but people are aware of the risks now and use proper precaution.

What is the timeline on when it was known to cause the cancer and how long they continued to use it?

The crazy thing is that the law changed a long time ago and if you had Asbestos exposure after a certain point (not sure of the year) the best you can get is workers comp. No more large settlements unless you can prove you were exposed to it prior to the cut-off date. It's pretty messed up that your employer can expose you to it, potentially cutting your life short, and only be on the hook to pay you comp. Just went through this with my dad who has cancer that is almost certainly due to him being exposed to it according to his doctors. Also, some of the companies that exposed him to it decades ago no longer exist. Nothing he could do according to the largest Asbestos law firm in Louisiana.
yep.
