I currently have a pair of Oakley shades. Have worn Oakleys, as well as other brands, since the mid 90's. You get what you pay for although shades tend to have a short lifespan with me due to the nature of my work. Regardless of the brand I would never buy a pair from a catalog without trying them on.

Looking through the link you provided, they have quite a few styles to choose from. Not all of them are douchey.

Obviously, we didn't have Chinese polarized glasses available for $22 like we do now.
Relying on Chinese products to protect my retinas and corneas from sunlight damage is not a value proposition that I’m comfortable with having.

When I lived in SoCal in the early 90s I wore them.
Interesting note that a friend in SoCal was the rep for a high speed spindle company out of Chicago. He could look at applications of these spindles in any government classified facility but not at Oakley.

Anyone who wears sunglasses upside down on the top of their hat or on the back of their head is a douche.

Don’t need anything other my old tinted safety glasses from my job. It’s just sunglasses baws.

Why would I be stuck in the past if I’m merely making a comment that Oakley’s are relevant to the 90’s?

I just rock my Costa Del Mar’s with my PFG shirts

They used to be more mainstream 15-20 years ago. Nowadays they’re a much more niche market.

Same here. They do great for yard work and have lasted for years.

I have Oakley Jupiter and Mainlink. Not douchey IMO. I usually buy Oakley bc that's what I'm used to I'm not really a sunglass nerd.

I was a Costa guy for a long time, but bought a pair of Holbrooks last year and they've been my favorite since.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not but there are thousands of other brands out there than Oakley. You are more than welcome to go try on a few pairs and see which ones for your cool, stud, alpha badass face the best since you are a fricking stud and too cool and good for the dochey ones

Have some on right now .

I haven't bought a new pair of Oakleys in about 15 years. Now wear Ray Ban and Maui Jim.
