Ive been through AA twice and still am trying to figure out what is its purpose. It's legal to drink! Hello!? Im a blue collar guy. Whats wrong with trying to cut that edge after a long hot day at work?
Am i wrong in this line of thinking? If so tell me. Tell me productive ways to unwind lol

Nothing, but getting shite faced after work or letting it alter your behavior or the behavior of those around you isn't good. Sounds like your trying to rationalize your bad decisions.

We've already told you twice. First step is admitting you have a problem. We can't help you until you're ready to help yourself. Go with Christ.

I don’t know if I’m an alcoholic or not. I’ve never tried to quit.

There’s nothing wrong with it so long as you can handle it. My sister can’t handle this, and has ruined her life with it. If you are incapable of ending it after 3 or 4, then you have a problem.

Working out, movies, weed, music, volunteering, porn, cooking, cleaning, sex, eating, backgammon. The list is endless.

He’s gotten through like half of the syllabus and written the course off, when the second half explains his questions. 2 AA meetings in you don’t know shite. Go to rehab and see how that plays out.

The problem with Alcoholics is that they cannot quit. They are addicted. Can you stop drinking for long periods of time without withdrawal problems? If you cant answer this question with an empathic "yes" then you are probably addicted and need their help. The key here is that if you are an alcoholic this condition or disease will eventually kill you after wrecking everyone else around you too while they watch you do it...
My BIL is an alcoholic. He is the nicest guy you ever met when he is not tanked but he cannot stop drinking. He eventually drinks so much he just passes out. He drinks more in a week than I do in ten years...
