Let’s say you win $10K. Do they give you an option of how they will pay you
Per one of my farm hands, they’ll even give you poker chips, if you prefer!

Funny! $9,999 sure won’t raise a flag! Hehehe.

My dad has won several large jackpots over the years
He won a $67,000 jackpot on Christmas Eve several years ago ( he took a big check and then also a 10,000 band of cash just because he could )
He won a $100,000 jackpot a long time ago . We always laugh at his picture of the big check because he has no expression, it’s like you gave him a $5 bill or something
And countless 4000 or 8000 jackpots. In the early 2000’s he once had a year of almost $500,000 in jackpot 1099 forms alone
Edit: his luck completely skipped me .. I’ve never hit a slot jackpot in my life. Not one damn time
He also used to play alongside John Daly in tunica , the $500 machine is what Daly would play.. while the $100 machine my dad would play was located next to the $500 machine

Depends on what game you play slots ya pay out big boy
I think it has to be 300/1 or greater to be taxable

10k they are filing all the paperwork there on hand before you even sniff the money.
How do they keep up with how much you buy in for? What if you spend 40k on slots and hit for 10k? You still net loss of 30k

You are supposed to “report” gambling winnings when it’s tax time but good luck tracking that
They only make you sign the irs form when a single wager of some sort hits that is worse odds than 300/1
I have one on my fridge right now from a horse track. Screw them. I won that bet fair and square 8 beers deep

I participated in a bad beat jackpot at a casino poker room. We all were paid in cash. The guy that “lost” with four sevens got over 100,000 dollars.
I don’t remember any taxes being withheld.
