It’s the same Nextdoor effect. Someone asks about help with xyz. Invariably someone will comment Oh I would help but am in the Azores and won’t be back ever again.

I never put my front license plate on when I lived in California. But I carried it in the trunk incase I ever was stopped by a cop. (I didn't like the look.) I never was stopped in the 17 years I had the car.

Yep, here in Virginia I wouldn't put one on the pristine Terminator I bought from someone in NC.
My 05 Rubicon has one, but it's been mangled to the point by rocks, brush that it be hard to read anyway.

They're not, but that is a hideous damn license plate to be the standard one. Why the hell did they get rid of the previous one? It fit perfectly.
