Yeah, I think I only get a placebo effect from Vistaril.

Also trazadone is not mood altering. It’s an antidepressant. ETA not that antidepressants aren’t mood altering but you won’t feel fricked up like you can with Valium

I think I got it from my psychiatrist but you shouldn’t have a problem getting it from a gp

Yeah Ambien made me crazy af. I'd be wylin out on that shite. I snorted them though. Not good.

I sleep naturally now. It's a miracle. Usually just sex or mediation is my go to.

You might be interested in checking out the Insight Timer meditation app. It's free and so is the content. Its meditation over medication these days for me too.

I do still wake up off and on throughout the night, but am able to go back to sleep typically.

Melatonin is prob the only thing I would frick with these days if it was really needed. I hate benadryl.

Benzodiazapines (Xanax, Temazepam and Valium) are not made to be taken long term. If you take them nightly for long periods of time your body becomes physically addictive to them. Then, not only can you not sleep without them, they cause extreme side effects and the only way to get off of them is to go through a medical detox.(if you go off of them cold turkey they can cause seizures). On small doses they can be tapered off but it takes a long time and can cause physical discomfort. I am a substance abuse counselor and the doctors I worked with refused to prescribe them.

I have problems sleeping sometimes and just take an over the counter Unisom. It makes me feel a little bit groggy in the morning but that's gone after my first cup of coffee.

Some make me feel terrible and some don't. It's weird but I've found a few that have very little side effects for me. I guess everyone is different. Have you tried taking half of one?

I take a half of Ambien twice a week. When I work, I get up at 4am. I don't work everyday but go in stretches where I will work 4 days then be off 7. It's hard to convert back and forth. I need sleep to do my job or its a terrible day. I love the drug though.

Kirkland Sleep Aid sold at Costco.. they both contain Doxylamine Succinate, which is the active ingredient in Unisom sleep tabs, i believe

“Unisom” sells as both Benadryl or Doxyalamine. The original was Doxyalamine.

This is me.

I worked night shift for about 8 years or so. Switched over to days and was never able to go to sleep. Even as a kid and young adult I just never was that fall asleep watching the news person.

It's admirable that you can take it and not use it every night.

If you work hard physically you should have no problem sleeping.

Go to a Psychiatrist or PCP. You have anxiety or other underlying mental health issues.

Was taking it too frequently. Had to ween myself off. If I am off the next day I just have it in my head that I will sleep whenever I sleep.

All I have to do is take Lil Alum to school. If still jacked up after that I go back to bed.

Trazadone. 50mg knocks my dick in the dirt and I don’t wake up groggy at all.

It’s magic.
