So if you had a dry cough but no nasal issues, you had covid19.

Okay so I just had what I thought. Two bad arse sinus infections separated by a week.

I've been coughing a lot for weeks. Feels like back when I had asthma really bad as a kid all over again. Cough medicine helps but it hasn't gone away completely.

Been to the doctor and it was negative for flu and they said my lungs sounded fine. Thankful that no one at my job has gotten it even though I've been coughing all over them for weeks.

Had a 3 day cold, fever 100.4, running nose. Took dayquil, nyquil, my daily vitamins, hit the gym to sweat out mucus and went to work like a grown man

My son had a severe upper respiratory infection in August. Missed the first 2 weeks of school and lingered for weeks before he stopped coughing and got his energy up. Tested negative for flu.

In October, I developed an upper respiratory issue so severe that I had to get breathing treatments. The doctor thought I’d developed asthma due to my symptoms.

It was a rough couple of months in our household. I coughed and was short of breath for weeks.

I’ve definitely thought about that a few times when news of this virus broke. It was an illness like I’d never experienced — it felt like pneumonia but it wasn’t diagnosed as such and I tested negative for the flu same as my son.

I had Type A flu back in October and legitimately felt like I was going to die. 7 full days of fever and pain, then a full month of shortness of breath and coughing. I never want that shite again.

Back in February. Sore throat. Cough. Fever. Chills. Fever lasted maybe the day. Honestly it was unlike anything I’ve had that I can recall.

Went to doctor. Tested negative for flu and strept. Gave me some minor medication. No antibiotics.

Cough lasted a week and continued to get worse. Went back. Given steroid and antibiotic. Killed it in a few days.

The thought crossed my mind, but no one around me got sick so I think I’m good.

My kid had Flu A about 3 weeks ago, then I fell sick with those exact symptoms (dry cough, lots of coughing but no sinus issues) for about 2 weeks, 2nd week included a fever of about 100 for 4 days. I tested negative for flu. I got better but I'm still doing some coughing and find that my lungs can't keep up during my workouts still. I get side cramps and stuff.

A friend of mine is a respiratory therapist and mentioned that upper respiratory infections have been going around, but Covid-19 is lower respiratory. Id be lying if I said I was 100% convinced it wasn't Covid-19

I developed a sore throat on January 29th that went into a mid range fever and a strange dry cough that was very deep. I kept the fever for 4 days. Had chills and cold sweats.
The dry cough was the worst that I have ever had. It was very strong and deep. I thought that I had torn my muscles in my stomach area and the extreme soreness and pain existed days after the coughing subsided. I could hear myself wheezing when I was breathing. It was so weird that I tried holding my breath and I could still hear rhe strange wheezing noise. I have never experienced anything like that before.
I started taking Xyzol as soon as the sore throat came on. Went to NyQuil and DayQuil when fever and coughing and fever came on. I slept constantly for about 4 days straight. I was exhausted for three about or four days after that. I never went to the doctor.
A week later I got a sore throat again. I took meds again and it went away two days later. I have never had anything like that. I have flu at least 3 times in the past, but this was different. I did have the flu shot just like I do every year.

I got extremely sick at the end of January. It was a horrific dry cough, totally non productive, and then I started with high fever. Was out of town on a work trip, but had gone to urgent care the night before. They tested me negative for flu and pneumonia. I got dizzy and almost passed out doing inservicing at the hospital I was at out of state the next day. Fever spiked to 104.5, I ended up in that hospital’s ER. They tested me positive for Flu A and x ray showed pneumonia in my chest. I remember reading about this Wuhan Virus that was just starting to make the news and I wondered... anyway, I’ve never been so sick in my life and there were several moments I thought I was going to die. It was terrifying to be honest. 6 weeks later and I still haven’t fully recovered.

Like 3 of us in our house ran fever and felt like shite for a couple days. Clearly flu like symptoms. I had the flu some years back, and it felt pretty close to the same. We all tested negative for the flu. But cough and the other symptoms were present for a couple weeks around it.

We all survived corona.

I said this several weeks ago after drawing the same conclusion knowing someone that had one of the worst colds of their lives. I was further intrigued after I also found out that a variant of common cold is a variant of the coronavirus.

But the “doctors” of the OT said the Chinese strain is different.
