Do any Christians get annoyed by the constant predictions of the rapture?

It just boggles my mind. Is the rapture prediction a cop-out for doing nothing? Its like people want hell to break loose so it'll happen. Is that what the bible says? People are suffering, stop trying to ignore that suffering by using that rapture as a get out of jail free card.

Haven’t seen any predictions of the rapture and I’m in the capital of the Bible Belt.

But then again, I deleted my Facebook account years ago.

No because they’re the ones perpetuating it.

I've had multiple people tell me "this is the end, Jesus is coming back, just watch."

Just seems like a way for them to do nothing and care about no one else but themselves.

Christianity is a death cult that worships a human sacrifice.

It’s really weird.

I grew up southern baptist in the deep south and other than some Karen casually saying "I believe it's coming soon ya'll" a couple times - I've never seen anyone make this prediction.

Or my favorite: “This is a plague sent by God to punish our nation.”

When we're chilling with Jesus and you're going throught the tribulation, you'll wish you'd paid more attention.

The interesting thing is that the word rapture isn’t even in the Bible

I'm a Christian and don't understand why people say stuff like that. It specifically says in the Bible that no one knows but The Father so why does every event have to be the end??

Anyone who knows the Bible knows that Jesus will come back on HIS time, not man’s.

This is virus a punishment? Ehh, more like a test. I think we’re all trying to take care of each other. The thing that is sad is that it takes something negative to happen to wake people up to what’s more important in life than political BS.

Zealot and anti-redemption Christians want it to be true since they think they'll be pointing fingers at others when off to the Pearly Gates.

God fearing Christians don't want it to be true because they don't want others to suffer.
