I just don't understand how someone existing can have no empathy or consideration for another life.

Like how is anyone capable of doing something like this and not feeling anything about it? They should not be among the breathing after committing something like this.

It should be understood if you do this kind of action you are forfeiting your own existence. How can anyone be okay with letting them live after this?

Why are we housing people like this? What are we trying to accomplish with this? Life in prison without parole for what? What purpose? Again, it should be understood you take a life like this you are giving up your own existence. This should be understood.

I don't know how anyone can live with something like this happening to someone they care about. There's no need for this.

This video made me think if someone pulls a gun on me outside I am just going to take off screaming and take my chances. I don't think I'm quietly heading back inside.

I know a guy who was robbed and had a gun pointed at him. He said that while it was happening he was calm. He said it felt as if the guy was simply asking for directions at the time.

He said that a week or two later he was crying uncontrollably in the shower on the floor. It hit him then that his life could have ended.

He said that all the movie BS about trying to figure out how to disarm the robber was not even remotely on his radar at the time.

I didn’t research it but comments claiming the father victim was a drug dealer. So not a totally random event.

What gave it away? The uniforms? The knocking and waiting more than 10 seconds for someone to answer? The gun waving to a 3rd person to come on? The guy asking the woman where is the money? They guy stating that there is more money?

Not sure how much research you need to do unless you didn't watch the video.

1000% something like this. House is a shite hole. Nobody’s wasting their time robbing it at gunpoint unless they know something about what goes on inside.

Yeah, I’m not watching that. And I hope I’ve raised kids who will understand watching things like this isn’t good for you.

These animals aren’t scared of going to prison and that’s why shite like this keeps happening.

Would really like to see public executions brought back for situations like this, and not some normal way like hanging or firing squad either.

What are you even talking about you absolute moron?

You didn't watch enough of the video, retard. The youngest sat there on the iPad when at least two people were being shot within 10 feet of him in the galley kitchen behind him. I wasn't referring to his older brother pulling him away from his dead mother's body.

It takes a special kind of retarded to ignore something as sharp as gunshots. I guess kids with an abusive backgrounds can ignore their mom getting upset and yelling, and begging leading up to the finale. You could throw Sydney Sweeney at a 12 year old boy, and maybe that kid will ignore gunshots. Maybe. Ignoring your mom screaming and begging for her life, and then being shot (along with 2 other people), because ROBLOX! is a failure of parenting.

ETA: to be clear, no kid did anything wrong, it's not their fault. The older kid should never have had to play the hero. Neither one should see their parents bleeding out.

And the kid on the iPad, while multiple people are being shot. Do you iPad parents realize what you're doing to your kids?

Exactly.

It’s like Chris Rock said: if you’re from an old ghetto, a new jail ain’t that bad.

Why would the poster you replied to have to do any research at all? It appears that the perps knew there was an amount of cash there that made them willing to accept some risks (up to and including murder).

I believe Jdiggy was simply bringing attention to the fact that this was not a random home invasion.
You may not realize it, but there are many people that would not come to that conclusion from just watching the video alone.

Deer run from perceived danger. This kid was looking for the next episode of Dora the Explorer. The iPad over-rode the basic danger avoidance instinct of every semi-sentient lifeform to protect itself.

But not a problem.

I think the video should be shown to every other person in that prison. Let them handle it.

This is the product of LBJ’s great society. Poverty, single mothers with 8 kids, violence. They’re feral animals.
