If I was asked what would I do to bring down Disney ten years ago, I would have said to do exactly what they have done.

That makes sense after seeing how some of the cast members live

I could image some enterprising section 8 voucher takers running secret AirBnbs in these units and living large in another Orlando subdivision.

Disney’s affordable housing complex

What am I missing here? Do the people that are going to live in a Disney ghetto, get into the parks for free? While, at the same time is Disney planning on off running off the people that save up for a year to go down there?

My business partner brought his family and they seemed to have a good time The photos and videos were pretty cool.

What a fricking idiot. The rooms were terrible, there were hardly any characters and it was outrageously expensive.

Plus it focused on the Disney trilogy

I don't know if it gets to Section 8 level although I had that initial fear. Considering the existing neighborhoods surrounding it and the new planned developments I'd now be shocked that it got to that level. However, traffic is going to be terrible. We need more gas stations around here and cell phone towers. Current infrastructure can't handle it. They are also trying to connect Clermont to Horizon West and Disney and that's even more road work on top of all this.

We can shite on Disney for supporting groomers all day long and rightfully so, what we can’t shite on is Disneys ability to make money and build infrastructure (except that Star Wars hotel). This affordable housing for employees will be no different. It won’t go to shite like most section 8 housing, Disney won’t allow it.

It didn’t say it was for the employees but it makes sense if it is for them. If it is for the employees, they will definitely not let that go to crap.

Developers need to continue the waterway all the way around it. Trap the crime and isolate it to that one area. You can bet your arse, they ain't gonna swim to get away.
