The issue here is the FCC putting pressure on stations to shut him down because the President didn’t like what he said. That’s the part a lot of people are uncomfortable with. Does Trump start shutting down news agencies that are critical of him? What happens to Fox News when a Democrat is in the White House?

That’s how people can go on tv and say that all democrats or all republicans are liars and not get sued. No one has standing to be the plaintiff

Anyone hosting a chat show had better either he woke or real good at navigating the fine lines between being woke and mainstream. They need celebs to talk to and if they want to talk to them, they need to bow to the message or they get shunned.

The FCC only has authority over public broadcast channels - not cable channels like Fox News and CNN. They have an interest in maintaining the integrity of news that is reported on the broadcast stations.
