Disney sucks so if you can't stay at the best hotels like that African one, Floridian, the one with the train or the Hawaiian one I wouldn't go

I have stayed at French Qtr and Riverside a few times. Take that money and stay at Royal Pacific at Universal. Same price pretty much one is a motel with nice grounds the other is a true 4- 4.5 star resort.

New development. It looks like we will only need to stay one night away from Bay Lake. If you could stay in a bungalow at poly, would you? Just to say you did it?

Man, at that cost I just don't know. Id probably say no and enjoy a night at V&A instead.

What's the cost difference for the bungalow?

You can do V&A with the wine package and tip for about $500

I'm in DVC. It's a point cost. We will not be able to travel to disney in '17 and likely '18 as well. So I need to use up my '17 points since I can't even "bank" them. I could rent them out but it would just be able 70 points difference which isn't enough to rent out to most places since it wouldn't be enough for a week. We are staying at Aulani in December for the Honolulu marathon as well. Using up some points that way.

Ah...I forgot. In that case, yeah...I probably would.

Strange coincidence I'll be in Honolulu next month and will be doing the Honolulu Triathlon (but not stayin at Aulani)

Gotta watch wishes from there though...

Today was my 60 day for fp and not one single Anna/Elsa FP was available. Good thing the little one has met them a few times. This will be her first trip being tall enough for space mnt so that should be interdasting.

Good luck!

It's one of those things where I have an opportunity to stay just one night to say I did it. On the flip side, I could stay at a Grand Floridian "Grand Villa" for fewer points.

So I just checked on the dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and it's scheduled for the night we would stay at the Poly. I know wishes doesn't take place during the halloween party. Do you know if they do fireworks for Christmas? Holiday Wishes right?

Yes, it's the holiday version.

I'm not 100% sure they pipe the music in for that wishes (since it's an extra hard Ticket event) but I think they do.

The Not So Scary Halloween Party does HalloWishes....the Very Merry Christmas Party has Holiday Wishes. So you should get a nice show from the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Thanks. We would definitely see the fireworks since A) we will need to be up early the next morning for our flights and B) we will have a 3 yo with us and he likely won't make it in the parks beyond 8ish. Although we'll see.

ETA: He technically doesn't turn 3 until the day after we leave! So we will be doing the Christmas party one of the nights that week since it's free.
