Because they think you will still keep going. Most people will. They are too lazy to think of another vacation.

Ultimately, that's not really important. As long as there are enough customers willing to go there and spend money, that's all that matters to Disney.
And by that metric, currently, Disney is fine.

It is very sad to watch.
If Universal can keep their eyes on the prize, Disney will feel the pain very soon, and they'll have to come back to the center.
I miss the days of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Now it's just We didn't ask, why tell us?

No there is a ton of pissed people. I do not think it is a majority, which is sad.
Disney's current appeal is baffling, but expected. There are too many parents that remember going to Disney in their youth and want to relive that magic with their kids. Now repeat visits will suffer based off Disney wokeness and even more the cost. Disney is actually going to kill itself for future generations and their suffering will be seen in the coming decades. There are a lot of children not being raised with the Disney ecosystem now.

Last couple of weeks, the stupid Genie pass has been at the most expensive prices to date because the parks are so full of people wanting to spend their money.
but go woke, go broke is still fun to say, even if it isn't true.

They're not losing 20% of customers. Not even close.

I feel the same as you but let's be real. They are not losing customers. Sure, maybe a few but again, not huge numbers. If they were losing huge numbers, they would do an about face. But that is not happening.

They’re accommodating 100% of people.
20% are offended by it. You aren’t upset by what they’re doing but why.

Oh wait, the FBI isn't interested.
Where is that manifesto?

The majority of gay people don't have kids. They seem to be confused about their audience.
I personally don't care about the Bud Light Can, but Disney is directed towards my kids. That is completely different and unacceptable.

They don’t care:
While Disney+ saw a drop in subscribers, other facets of The Walt Disney Company thrived. According to a report from Nexstar reporter Scott Gustin, Disney Theme Parks saw $2.1 billion in profits, up 35% from last year.

We have been in full-fledge Disney mode since our kids were old enough to go. The in-laws worked there when it opened, bought into DVC, and we have so many friends and family that work there... it has just been a part of our lives.
We aren't going this year for the first time in 12 years. I can't see going back. In-laws are taking us on a DCL cruise this year for their 50th anniversary, but it wasn't OUR choice. We'll have to figure out the DVC part later. This isn't just because of any stance on politics, the experience has turned to shite. They make the process far too complicated, they oversell the parks, they put premiums on what used to just be part of the experience, they have removed experiences in general, hotel quality has fallen behind, transportation is not good, and it's just not magical at all anymore. frick it.
While the impact may not be immediate, you still have a ton of people making their first visit since the pandemic. I think once people cycle thru and experience all the bullshite without the magic, they just won't return. Universal is such a more pleasant experience, and the hotels are dramatically more affordable, with better service (right now), they absolutely are chipping away at market share.

In theory. Companies at that scale care more about future and potential customers instead of existing customers.. they believe the shedded consumers of their products via boycotts are small in comparison to what they believe can be gained. They believe loyal Disney peeps don’t care enough and those being shedded are cyclical consumers who are eventually aged out with their kids.
They have so much market share and far reaching propaganda angles within media to feel they’ll win in the long term regardless.
These choices by these companies are pushed by ideological driven VP sect but the decision makers only care about revenue and share price. That’s the only defense against these decisions

They are not losing 20% of their customers. People love to bitch, but fold like a cheap lawn chair when it comes vacation time.

Your lack of participation in a culture war doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Not everyone needs or wants to be as apathetic as you and your friends.
