Well..I still feel odd going to Disney myself so I'm going to bring my 17 year old and 9 year old nephews.

I did think it was like $159 a day I was shocked when I priced tickets. I prefer universal now but want to wait until Halloween or the new park to go there.

I know a retired teacher who has been to Disney 37 times.
I also know a married couple in their thirties with 2 kids (youngest 2) who will be taking their 12th trip in their 14 years of marriage.

Why are so many on here so hung up on Disney. If those enjoy it, that is their business. I am sure there is shite you blow your money on that people would think was weird or dumb.

The world is scary and lots of people can’t …like even….like deal with it …like you know?!

So Disney idiocy should come as no surprise.

I find the people that hate Disney adults are the people that can't afford to go to Disney.

Jokes aside, everyone has shite they like. Some people collect playing cards, some build cars, etc. People can go enjoy whatever it is that makes them happy.

We’re going to Disneyland tomorrow. My kids are so excited (4 and 2.5) that they’re having meltdowns today and can’t keep their emotions in check.

Here with my two kids. Knuckle check at the carnation cafe?

I would like to make a Disney World trip sometime soon, but that's only because I haven't been since I was 8. I want to see what has changed/different from my memories. I couldn't imagine going every year though. That's just ridiculous.

I used to live in Williamsburg Virginia and would go to Busch gardens 30 times in a year with season pass. Is it weird to like rides/roller coasters, theme parks in general? I like the rides at Disney… I’d go 30 times there too if I lived closer

My last trip was in 1977. Space mountain was great. I loved the It’s a small world ride, as well as the paddle boat ride to Tom Sawyer’s tree house. Oh, and the animated Presidents thing was cool too, but that’s pretty much all I got.

I think I have as many lasting memories from the glass boat ride on the way there as anything else. It’s pretty cool for a kid, no question, but I guess I never got bitten with the Disney bug to want to spend my vacation time on been there done that every year.

At Disney right now with my son and wife, it’s our second year in a row. He loves it and as long as he enjoys it we will be coming back to Disney.

Well that’s on you for steering him wrong. My kids prefer to go to Europe. #parenting

A 2nd cousin of mine (who was about 15 years older than me) used to love Disney. This was the late 90s, she was diagnosed with some type of brain tumor that was removed then it grew back and she died from it.. When she learned that there was nothing else that they could do and that she had only so long to live she wanted to be at Disney world as much as possible and ended up going for 2 or 3 weeks 3 times before she was too sick to go.

Obviously that was her happy place and its good that she got to do what she loved while she knew she was dying. That's when I realized there are things people will like that I can't understand why. I had only been once and it just wasn't me, I remember enjoying the different gardens more that Disney world. Personally I think Disney sucks, but people like what they like.

God forbid people enjoy something that doesn’t harm anyone. Disney’s fun
