Why would this note be?
Black Dots - Black people

Yellow Dots = Asian people

The media and politicians definitely aren't focusing on the voices if they aren't aligned with Democrats.
Honestly a "hands off" police force, activist judges, and shitty DA's are the worst things to happen to American cities since forced bussing. It's not just Baton Rouge. And it's threatening to undo a lot of the improvements to our cities made in the 1995-2010 era.
If you were a cop, would you do anything beyond the bare minimum to keep your job? You are unappreciated. And the media and radical local community organizers will turn on you in a heartbeat. The media has taken ambiguous local issues and thrust them into the national spot light and turns them into wedge issues. They have done this on a national level for almost every election cycle for almost 20 years. The entire goal is to scare minorities (particularly blacks) just enough to show up to vote for a candidate that doesn't really excite them. They are TRYING to create more division and anger. That's their business. And every time, people get more fearful of police, and the police get more and more reluctant to go the extra mile.
It's a horrible time to be a cop. The only chance towns have is to make sure there are as few Trudy White types on the bench as possible, and that the DA actually is interested in keeping the city safe.

Because even poor girls can choose to not have sex. It’s a decision. Isn’t BC free for impoverished girls? Aren’t condoms free at many clinics? Teen pregnancy and low education are a choice. It’s a choice to make a poor decision because your parents never made you or instructed you to make the right one.
quote:I'm sure you do.
God I hate the term equitable as opposed to equal.
quote:It's not about getting the time off, it's about missing the hours.
Parent teacher nights aren’t decided days in advance but rather weeks and months. I guarantee any and all employers given 4 weeks notice that you won’t be able to work one evening shift because you have to go to parent teacher night will happily accommodate you. Despite what a lot of people think, most employers aren’t assholes.

What are black people telling you, white IT guy Korkstand, is the REAL reason for the insane homicide numbers in their community?

So if I ever have to move to BR, I should live between Perkins and Highland south of I12.
Good info OP. Thanks.

What is the different variable between a poor teen girl and a rich teen girl getting knocked up?
Maybe not, but showing examples, statistics, and testimonies about people in this country that graduate high school, wait until after high school to get married, have kids after marriage, and don’t get addicted to drugs and then comparing the stats to those that don’t follow these principles ought to hit home.
If it doesn’t, it’s a parenting issue, not a povert my issue.

I'm sure you do.
Yes because I hate the thought of equal outcomes as opposed to equal opportunity. Never in the history of the world has there ever been equal outcomes. Now we are trying to force it and what result with is shittier outcomes for the vast majority, but at least they are equally shitty.

Asking an employer in advance to reschedule hours is generally very well received. Again, most employers aren’t assholes.

What considerations are different between a rich teen girl and a poor teen girl deciding to have unprotected sex?

How would we know? Who was the last prominent politician to seriously attack the issues of early pregnancy and single mothers in the black community? When does the media start covering the massive culture problem thats holding black people back?

It's not very difficult to not be poor in the US. Don't have children before you are married, don't commit crimes, graduate HS, get a job. If you follow these simple steps, you most likely won't end up in poverty.
