Yea, she never straight up says she is the CEO but she absolutely implies that she is like Dave Thomas or the real Wendy (who I'd rather have back in commercials over the snarky condescending hot Wendy).

The black woman is what you call a spokesperson. Not a CEO. You're not going to find CEOs wearing an apron and pretending like they're in the kitchen whipping up recipes and doing the cooking. If they do they end up looking silly.
I think they have a small idea of their primary consumer base and those people are not going to identify with a woman who looks like she could cut out paper dolls with her lips.
