I don't totally remember. There was one in Metairie near Cleary.
I think it had a buffet but I could be wrong about that.
I do remember it had an extended menu. They had some good ribs.

If it is racist, it is only mildly so. I think the issue is the dialect that she's delivering. It is so stereotypical it borders on banal.

I never ever thought the chick in the commercial as the CEO... She is actually pretty annoying... Tries to be funny and is not............... Plus Popeys has many locations that I would not send my dog in to eat..... Plus the chicken seems always dry and they seem to not let the chickens get to full growth... I eat the breasts and they have really cut down on the sizes... Now I will say this.... The new Churches in Denham does something different in the way they cut the breast.... GREAT chicken so far there....../rant.
BTW Screw popeyes.......... The KFC on Greenwell Springs by Monterey you can eat off the floor its so clean.......

I used to work in a poultry plant, and it was nothing for us to cook 50,000 pounds of chicken per shift, on one line. Depended on the product, of course, but we cooked a LOT of chicken.

With the media and idiots on Facebook throwing around the word racist every time they are triggered it has lost all meaning to me. Now when I hear someone say something is racist I just think they are retarded and go about my day.
