If I didn’t have to cross the river I might try living on the Westbank. If there were not the possibility of the Algiers Ferry being closed, I probably would already live in Algiers. Sitting at the Point’s levee looking at the Cathedral and one of the world’s great skylines is a true blessing.

either Algiers Point or Old Gretna as far as I'm concerned, but one that doesn't get talked about is Old Westwego..
