I have been a land cruiser fan since I was a kid, so I was stoked when they were building up the release of the FJ Cruiser. I was highly disappointed in it. Had they called it something else, it probably would have been different. To me it was, "that's neither an FJ, nor a land cruiser...what is this frickery?"
I just bought a used 2010 FJ Cruiser for my son last Saturday. That thing is fun to drive. If they still made them I would buy one for myself.

Mitsubishi 3000 GT
Got a job in HS as a porter moving cars for a Mitsubishi dealership. Faked that I knew how to confidently drive a stick. A guy pulls into the service drive in a 3000 GT, I jump in and proceed to smoke the shite out of the tires in the service drive like I had just won a NASCAR race.
I was employed 26 hours.

Porsche 944 and 928
Yep. And give the 944 a better engine and modern day performance. I had a 1989 944S2. It handled like it was on rails.

Used bugs were cheap and plentiful in the 80's. Now they're collector's items.

I had one of these back in the day (it looked just like this one except it had grey interior)...wish I still had it. I was one of the few people in my area that wasn't stranded in the Blizzard of '93. It was an offroad badass.
