I've played since 2006. Mostly Mississippi courses in NE MS and Central MS. The Jackson area has several great courses and so does the Tupelo area. I've also played in Monroe, LA in some tournaments.

Isn’t Highland Road Park the only place to play around BR?

No, that's Heymann. Acadiana Park is over near Tuerlings HS.

The top pro players are starting to make comfortably into 6 figures, but they have to pound the pavement pretty hard to get it. Most of it comes from sponsorship and signature disc sales. The top tournaments themselves seem dedicated to keeping payouts low, for some hippie purity reason, or some fricking thing. First place at the world championship this year was $10k.

I played a few rounds in my younger days. Lots of beer drinking, bong/joint hitting, cigarette smoking/dipping walks in the woods.

WA, ID, AZ, NM, and NC courses.

Most of the AZ and NM courses were just throwing the disc in a wide open park or desert, nothing like the WA/ID/NC courses where you had fairways carved into the forest.

I still carry a disc in my car in case I run across a course but haven't played in years. Recently I have been thinking about hitting up some of the mountain courses nearby or checking out a weekly league.

Only one ace but I can still visualize it to this day, almost 20 years later.

I’m pretty sure Salmon, Oweo, and a few other nerds play disc golf. Y’all should meet at the park on highland one day. See where things go.

Spent the week at Lake Claiborne state park last week, they have 2 18 hole courses, very nice, I think the state championship is there next year.
