How did y’all quit? I’ve tried to quit before but never really wanted to. This time I’m ready to quit. Thinking about going cold turkey tomorrow morning.

Most of the ones I have seen only seem to take after part of a jaw or tongue is removed. That's a big motivator.

I just stopped buying it. Can’t do it if you don’t have it.

I quit cold turkey the last day I played baseball in college. Never had a dip since.

Nicorette is a nice substitute. I just had to go cold turkey on that a couple of days ago.

Throw the can in the trash now and don't wait until the morning. If you're ready to quit do it now.

I chewed levi garret for over 30 years. at least a pack a day, sometimes 2 when working around the clock offshore.
said I would quit when it got to 5$ a pouch. didn't do it.

when I had to pull a tooth out my head cuz the chew rotted it out, well that made me quit and I never wanted another chew. that was 5 or so years ago.

quitting dipping/chewing/ smoking is real easy, all u got to do is really want to quit. that's it. i'm living proof.

Accidentally ingested some Copenhagen in 6th grade. Was enough to keep me from ever starting!

I woke up one morning and had a dip left in a can. I said this is the last dip I’m ever taking for the rest of my life. That was on June 15 2019. Cravings are tough especially when around other dippers. You’ll be dreaming of that brown juice all night but it passes. I really haven’t thought about it the last week or so...

I'm not trashy either but I got addicted and it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to quit.

As disgusting as it is, it was incredibly hard to give up.

Clean now for 8 years.

I used this method but I was eating so many seeds that when I went to get my teeth cleaned the dental hygienist said the seeds were damaging my gums more than the dip. I was never a heavy dipper but I was chewing about a large bag of seeds a day. I ended up just quitting both all together. I don’t think I was physically addicted to it, I think it just became a habit. I don’t even think about it anymore.
