I've never felt that tagging property that isn't yours is awesome.

I appreciate talented and creative artists who make aesthetically pleasing pieces. The people who just tag fricking suck.

It's one thing if someone is just starting out and the begin their "career" doing simple tags, but people like reznor and achoo are uncreative and lazy af that adds nothing.

That's why I posted most graffitti artist like the ones that get commissioned. Not the same as tagging vandalists.

MUCKROCK does some amazing stuff. She's an artist. Not a graffiti person IMO. If I'm gonna see tags everywhere, I would rather them be interesting and not REZNOR's shite.

Her instagram is insane watching her stories and what she does with cans of spraypaint

Most graffiti artists are absolute shite (no commentary or talent) and taggers are wanna be pre-teen girls with glitter pens writing their names in big, bubbly letters.. Taggers are pathetic losers begging for attention without spending an ounce of effort to even attempt to draw a picture or develop talent.

I'd say the graffiti artist are typically making a comment. Talent is debatable b/c I can stretch across any artform and say that. Maybe you're blurring the lines of that with some hood rat doing a fancy tag. Other than that, you are spot on with taggers being "losers begging for attention without spending an ounce of effort to even attempt to draw a picture or develop talent"

It's not him.
Most have nah or dtb after them.

Nah is a tagger too.
That's why the look is different.

I was watching trains go by, every car tagged even the car haulers(probably gets paint on cars inside) were tagged. All names and sayings, some shite art, that crazy S we all drew in school, but can't remember who showed us, more tags.....Then a perfect, museum quality Simpson's watching TV on the couch passes by and then it's gone.

Was so cool.

I'm also a fan of the political satire stencil pieces like Banksy is famous for.

I'm fairly certain the guy they busted wasn't really Reznor. I'm also fairly certain there are several people out there using the Reznor tag that aren't the original Reznor. Regardless, they all need to be rounded up and forced to clean up every spot of graffiti in the city. I wish for far worse punishment for these assholes, but it would be unconstitutional.

Wasn't him, and it is just one guy..

See the lettering? That's a real Reznor.

I wish someone would set a boobytrap for teachers
Taggers.

I'd love to set up something to spray them with expanding foam or glue. Gallons of it.
Better yet honey and let the bugs finish.

welcome to a 15 years ago

Pretty sure Banksy was brought up a time or two itt, or at least he usually is brought up in every graffiti thread.

Csb: I've mentioned on here before but I think I once found a Banksy walking on Tchop before anyone else really knew about it. Wasn't really long after the storm if I remember right. There wasn't anything online about it. I took pics and stuff. Couple months later I passed it again and someone had covered it with plexiglass or whatever. /csb
