No, but I had a dog named Jed.
We got his son and named him Jed junior.
Called him junior.
Changed my Tigerdropping name to junior when we put him down.

I'm a junior. Only person who ever referred to me as Jr. Is my father. It was one of his better nicknames for me, so I don't have a problem with it.

I am a 68 year old Jr. named after my dad. Honestly, as a kid I always wished I had my own name. I still think it would have been good to better my own sense of "me" instead of always being tagged as " Little _____" (insert name).

My son is a Jr. It works because he goes by his first name and I go by my middle name. My names were a combination of my great grandfather and my grandfather, so I wanted to pass them on.

My son is not a jr., but a III. He doesn't even have thrbsame name as me or anyone else in the family. We just felt it was more distinguished.

My dad is a jr and my older brother a third.
My son is a junior if my name but instead of calling him just by his first name we used both first and middle to distinguish between us

I wouldn't (didn't) personally but if someone else chooses to, that's their business.

True Story:

In the original screenplay for "Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby", the two kids were named "Hank" and "Williams Junior" not "Walker" and "Texas Ranger".

I would give him my middle name since it was my great grandfather and grandfathers middle name but no, no Sampson Jr's.

Pretty arrogant move to name your son after yourself.

Who was the OT or PT poster who named their newborn Donald Jr? There wasn't a Donald Sr he just liked the President's sons' name.
