Right near my house a few minutes ago it seems

At 454 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Westminster, or near Baton Rouge, moving northeast
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

I mostly get earthquake alerts now but I still prefer them over the storms. Don't miss those at all.

Yeah, pup woke me up at 4 with the first round of storms. We were just starting to drift off when the second round came through really intense then I got the alert. Wide awake now.

We are in Woodland Ridge and just had a very strong cell come through. Starting to calm down in the past few minutes

Jefferson Floynell area here. Peaceful sleep to about five lightning cracks in a row. Son of a bitch it got bad quick. Hopefully it only caused minor damages. I’ve gotten tornado warnings before and went back to sleep but I had an eery feeling with this one

The rotation went right over my house. There probably wasn’t a tornado where we are but I could hear the wind buzzing.
