Had to cancel my order because the restaurant wasn't even open. Oh well. What I get for being lazy.

No. That's what these services were created for.

I spent $20 to have chick fil a delivered to me last night while it was sleeting here, but it was well worth it versus getting the ice off of my car and driving in that mess.

No, if they are out there taking orders and delivering, then go for it.

Back in my pizza delivery days, days like today usually meant better than normal tips (at least from the crowd of people who actually tip). Just throw them a little extra tip.

I assume it's similar to driving for Uber? Work when you want to? If they didn't want to drive in this shite then they wouldn't be doing it.

Not the same. They have to work a certain amount of hours each week with certain shifts and all that.

Everyone I've talked to that worked there had terrible things to say about it

why would it be a dick move? It's not like they are 9 to 5ers, if they dont want to work right now they wont turn the app on.

Again not how it works

I haven't seen 1 restaurant closed in Baton Rouge, so you're good there. If you order during the peak hours, I would allow an extra 30 minutes to an hour on top of normal times for delivery though. People navigating the streets are driving much slower, and I'm guessing that many restaurants are working short handed due to employees not coming in. All just a guess on my part, though.

Is the knuckle check complimentary or an extra charge?

Just pay a nice tip. It’s the right thing to do

This is the OT. Most of the trashy fcks will sit at home and wait for their slop to get delivered, tip $2, and then say the driver should get a better job if they want to make more money.

Have you seen the tip threads on here?

Yeah, the Waitr drivers have paid enough of their own bills already.
