Not sure why everyone is taking issue with RHF. That's widely accepted and taught across the country. Probably the most comprehensive advice you could offer someone in that situation in a concise and easy to recall format.

Actually if you have ever been in an active shooter training, these are the 3 steps they go through. In that order, Run if you can, hide if you can't, and fight if you have to.

There really isn’t anything else you CAN do in an active shooter situation. My God I have a sick feeling in my stomach right now. This is home for all of us and 90% of posters here know people there.

Me too man. I worked in Pleasant Hall for 6 years up until May. Had a few classes in Coates. You never think it'll happen on YOUR campus. Prayers to everyone and hope it's nothing too serious.
