In 6th grade my gf dumped me day before my birthday and I also got a C in algebra on my report card that day.
The next report card I was finger banging my ex-gf best friend and my algebra teacher.

I was eight hours away from home the day my house flooded. My wife and four week old child were home by themselves.

So today I was sitting in my cubicle, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.

Well things got a lot worse before they got better. 
But as they say, this too shall pass. My wife ended up getting to stay home with our daughter for awhile, which was a blessing in disguise. And those events lead me to make changes, first in company and ultimately career which has put things in a much better position now.
And 1/9 was the last time I got truly upset about LSU football. I used to let it get to me way too much. It affected my well being. But. After that game, and a lot of beer, with everything else that was going on it put things in perspective. Now I enjoy the experience a lot more and allow myself to enjoy watching football.
But as they say, this too shall pass. My wife ended up getting to stay home with our daughter for awhile, which was a blessing in disguise. got busted growing cannibis, beat up and thrown in BRPP. Three days later was the second worst day when I got sent from booking to A wing with rapists and murderers.

I was at the game, a "senior" college, fan my whole life and I just had to stop.
I still go to all the games I can but I just had to cool it.

Got the stomach flu Christmas morning a few years ago . I was shitting and puking every hour for the next three days . I really thought I was going to die .
I was so sick I was hallucinating.
Thinking back , I picked it up from another family member .. and after learning you can only get it from ingesting feces or vomit that contains the virus makes you realize how disgusting humans can be .
I've developed a OCD / hypercondriac disorder of sorts where I don't use the restroom at public or put my hands anywhere near my face .
Am I a better person for it ? Probably not .. worst day of my life.
