So if they convict him, would it be this judge that they would go to for an appeal??

frick woke culture
Exactly. This is precisely why it's as prevalent in society today. People didn't stand up to it ten years ago and tell them they're stupid because they didn't want to hurt someone's feelings. It's done nothing but snowball from there to what we see today with elected representatives at the federal level spouting woke nonsense and making policy based on woke nonsense.

The longer this goes on, the more I feel this will be the outcome....
guilty on some charge and overturned on appeal.
I feel really bad for those jurors. I think most people serve because they feel it’s their civic duty. But these some of these folks have to be worried how this will affect their lives and the lives of their families. A few will seek attention and publicity, but most want to go back to normal, safe lives.

I think you are overestimating the whole "don't want to look like OJ's jury" situation. Do you really think that is conversation and debate they are having amongst themselves if they reach a verdict too quickly?
That trial was 26 years ago, I would be surprised if it's even mentioned by a juror especially considering everything else they are having to discuss

I’d say this is the biggest case since OJ, wouldn’t you? I’m sure that case has crossed several of the jurors mind over the weeks.

Zimmerman bigger imo

Did I hear the President of the United States called GFs brother to tell him we are hoping for a good verdict?
The President hoping you will "do the right thing" as a juror??
I'd throw the case out. He could order the FBI to take out those jurors.

I really don’t think so. Zimmerman was a clear piece of shite, but once you get in his situation and have the shite beat out of you, then a firearm is justified. This time last month I thought Chauvin was guilty of third degree murder because it seemed obvious to me that kneeling on someone’s neck for 8 and a half minutes would kill someone. The defense though I think has now put it at reasonable doubt.
Plus people weren’t burning down cities on mass in the name of Trayvon Martin.

This reminds me of April 1992 Rodney King cops trial. When they were found not guilty for beating the shite out of a drugged up Rodney King, shite exploded. History will repeat itself if Chauvin walks.
Stacey Koon trial did not get near the coverage of OJ, Zimmerman or this, but shite hit the fan after Stacey Koon walked.

We’re in a different social environment now.

Oh yeah, and I’m sure that trial is in the jury’s minds as well.

Eric Holder was down in Ferguson supporting those riots. Michael Brown is when this started to escalate. This predates Trump.
