Black men are gonna watch that shite and say don’t roll up on drugs if you don’t want cops to frick with you.
Literally the only threat is almost half the jury is white women

This was all a show trial.
This. Nelson is Atticus Finch, and modern America has become a place where justice depends on the victim or oppressor status of the accused.

If it means anything they did their part to uphold their civic responsibility. I'd say that favors the law and probably care about law enforcement more than the others. And lemme tell ya, selection was a shite show.

Yeah, it’s not like OJ where we knew these jurors were vindictive and fricking retarded. Plus I’m willing to bet the jury in the very least doesn’t want the reputation of that jury. I think they come back with a verdict on Wednesday or Thursday if only the avoid the fallout of that trial.

I'm sure they are but if you took random Americans in that ratio and there will be 9 Biden voters and 3 trump. Bias will be stacked against Chauvin

Yeah, but unlike the average Biden voter they’re hearing the actual defense.

I don't know how to reply to this

I’m too lazy to pull voting results from Minneapolis where the jury is being held, but I wouldn’t be shocked if that resembles the county’s results pretty close.
EDT: looked it up. Hennepin County: 70.45 Biden over 27.29 Trump. So close.

He died that day because of his decisions. Chauvin just happened to be there when the consequences of Floyd’s decisions finally killed him
Define “be there”. Like be there as a passive by stander watching? Be there as placing him in a cop car and Floyd passing away on his own or be there with his knee on his neck for over 9 minutes? George Floyd wouldn’t have died that day without DC’s over reaching decisions.

As in, if it wasn't Chauvin, a different cop would be infamous instead.

They weren't passive stand by witnesses. They are the ones who caused distractions and the movement of Floyd by paramedics before resuscitation was started.
His knee was not on the neck. The police chief admitted as much. Perception vs perspective. There was also no damage to the neck of Floyd internally or as far as bruising. George Floyd had a large amount of counterfeit money. His "friend" drug dealer that he was just giving a ride to and didn't even know bitched on body cam that he also got stuck with some funny money from George.

He also wouldn’t have died if he had been at work

I happen to agree. If George Floyd weren't getting arrested, he would not have eaten the drugs. Then again, he was getting arrested cause of his own poor decisions.

Will never be an outright acquittal with this jury makeup. A mistrial (and maybe an acquittal on the most serious charges) is the best he can hope for.
