Good point about carbon monoxide issues b/c GF was near the exhaust. Hadn't heard that anywhere else.

Well it was mentioned on here and I can't believe I'm doing this but credit goes out to Geekboy. He did post that the exhaust could have played a part.

It’s good if you’re conceding a lesser charge

Why because it was the exhaust from a police car?

Use your head. Who placed Floyd's face near the exhaust?

I’ve generally held the “police being responsible for the well-being of those in their custody” should have been the angle the entire time.

The prosecution spending time and resources on “murder” is a colossal waste. They should have just hammered home the lack of rendering aid.

And thats where you're wrong again. The majority that you argue with want justice. Half of them came into the trial thinking he was guilty. We are saying he isnt guilty of murder but if he did contribute he should be held accountable. We do not believe its a guilty of murder or else like you do.

I go back to my question a few pages back. What happens during jury deliberation if they ask who the guy is that was with GF and the ex in the car at the time of cops arriving? How would the court handle that? Surely they can't just say "oh well you don't need to know anything about that person".

Can someone explain that

Adjusting heart weight limits for patient weight is so obviously problematic because obese people require more work from their heart, so it enlarges. Despite what fancy pants cardiologist said, that enlargement is a pathologic condition.

That’s why traditionally heart weight has been compared to height.

George Floyd did when he resisted being put in the back of the car and begged to be put on the ground. Now if you have video showing Chauvin holding Floyds nose and mouth into the tailpipes direction then I would change my mind.

The judge would tell them that they need to base their decision by considering only the evidence presented during the trial. So basically, yes they would just say “you don’t need to know about him.”

bet you cant link me saying he is guilty of murder, other than it being on the table. I bet you'll just ignore the fact I never said that though.

They would basically say just that. In different words, but it would boil down to “he wasn’t presented in evidence or testimony so you should not consider him in your deliberations.”

I'm on the cop's side here and I'll always agree that Floyd breaking the law and following up with resisting arrest caused all of this, but you're being facetious if CO played a part in the death and you don't think that the cops had anything to do with it
