Why does Chauvin have only one attorney? Seems like such a high profile case would have some defense attorneys willing to work on the cheap for the exposure.
Nevermind, apparently he does have a team. I guess Nelson is going to do all the courtroom stuff though.

I think most see it as seesaw battle without much ground being gained by either side. It appears to me the defense is at the minimum treading water.
the defense merely had to weather the storm to this week where the state’s case gets far weaker on the use of force and cause of death components. the defense should start to pick up some momentum

He did all that de-esculation talk so he could point out the crowd that gathered.

Not when you know that you run the risk of your family, house and friends safety being in danger for trying to help Chauvin.

I don’t know. That’s a great question though.
The prosecution has 9 attorneys. None of which actually work for the DA’s office. They are all volunteers or hired guns.
But TBH, defense has gone toe to toe with them.
I still don’t believe prosecution has even come close to proving murder.

The prosecutor that gave the opening remarks has never tried a criminal case before. Having 9 may be the reason it seems the questioning direction keeps changing. Nelson is able to stay on his gameplan.

Seems a bit hyperbolic. Zimmerman had a team of lawyers to defend him, and I can’t imagine he had very deep pockets or the backing of police organizations.

The other day they said 14 prosecutors... 9 is a lot, I couldn't believe 14!!

Apples and oranges compared to the current mood of society due to the liberal media.
Floyds family has said that if they didn't get justice there they were going to get it all over the country. How many possible jurors were released just because of the fear of being involved...quite a few.

What if you live in the middle of nowhere, and own a backhoe?

You are correct. I just googled. 14 prosecutors against Nelson and 1 assistant.

Floyd was in a manic state and was talking out of his mind so I doubt he was understanding anything they said.
Well then what was the cop supposed to do medically??? They called paramedics if I recall.

Exactly.

Chauvin has the police defense fund behind him. Think he has 12 attorneys working the case costing an estimated 1 million dollars.

I didn't think he was doing this all alone but I think it's wise how he is the only 1 that speaks for Chauvin where as the prosecution is using 3 and 4 speakers.

Damn.
Damn.

Nelson is really messing up the conscious vs unconscious neck restraint difference.

The police chief is a POS. He says he can tell from Floyd’s facial expression that it’s not light to moderate pressure on his neck. What a joke
They guy was complaining he couldn’t breath before anyone was touching him. He was all worked up and freaking out on his own.
