It's sloppy journalism. The article did have info on texts with her mom that were new. Hadn't seen that before.

The theory that she was pushed out was mentioned numerous times, but the prevailing narrative seemed to be that after the "argument," she was getting out to flag an Uber (which seemed off).
This article seems to shift the narrative by stating that she was indeed kicked out of the car, reinforced by the fact that she left her phone at the bar.
I understand one of the guys could have booked the Uber for her, but let's not kid ourselves. Does anybody believe they were decent enough to do such a thing?

We did. The journalist spoke to the mom and grandmother. I bet it’s the mother saying she was pushed out and she was laying in the rain after being hit by the car. Neither are facts but I don’t think the writer was looking for them. It’s more of a story that has new quotes with no new information. They can call it an exclusive and get people fired up again. Nothing to see.

Ostensibly, the only ones who can vouch that she was "pushed" out of the vehicle would be one of the four (unless there was a residential camera that capturedit). Maybe someone's using the term figuratively?

I agree. I guess they figured that she would get home somehow or another and then be too embarrassed to actually report it. How they expected her to be able to get home with no phone and in her condition is another mystery.
