if they were concerned about kidnapping (which I highly doubt they gave the slightest thought to) then that would go a long way in absolving them of kidnapping charges.
If the girl was severely pissed and trying to get out of the vehicle that may have been easier said then done. She may have a moment of clarity of what just occurred and freaked out.

Statistically, the defense attorney is correct about her "not complaining" because most times rape goes unreported. Especially in those circumstances.
Her autopsy showed anal injuries, so I'm guessing, had she lived, she would have had some pain and soreness down there. Depending on how bad the pain was, it may have prompted her to go to the doctor or emergency room. Of course, once they examined her, they would have figured out what happened.
Depending on how much she could remember since she was drunk, she might have been able to put 2 and 2 together, especially if she remembers herself leaving with 4 guys.
Likely, out of shame and embarrassment, she probably just chalks it up to a drunken night. Plus she wouldn't want her parents to find out that she got so drunk she ended up in a car with 4 guys she didn't know. I'm sure she probably would have avoided Reggies so she wouldn't run into those guys again.

According to the affidavit, the police identified Casen and then called him to come in.
The other issue about charges pressed later is her BAC would have gone down. Much harder to prove severe intoxication without that. She would have showered, washed off evidence, and would have been difficult to go back and piece the night together.
There's a 'scan bar' on a drivers license these days. I wonder if they identified Casen from that? Not sure if it is stored in any way at a bar once scanned.

And if she washes off evidence, it would be difficult to even prove that sex with Washington and the 17 year old occurred (in the absence of video or a confession) let alone that they raped her.

Unfortunately, the infuriating reality seems to be that she wasn’t the first for these guys… and it took her death to bring light to what some men are doing in Tigerland that have no affiliation to the area..

To my knowledge, Washington was the only one of the four with prior issues. Not sure if his uncle has any prior record.
But since Walker is no large town one would think Carver knew something about Washington's past and certainly should've known about his inexcusable post regarding the 16YO football player who died. Carver should have known about that and still chose to pal around with him.
And if the uncle knew, what does that say about him? Letting a rabid dog roam. Did he try to warn Madi about the rabid dog in their pack?

Lemme get this straight.
The incident had nothing to do with rampant underage drinking. No, the root cause was the wrong kind of people coming to a college bar.
Wtf?

I took his post to mean there were events that predate 1/15/23 that would have precluded them from being there in the first place, i.e., the events that did take place.
I'm only aware of Washington's charges. And to be fair the 17 YO shouldn't have been admitted in Reggie's.
So beyond the rampant underage drinking there were issues with who came to Reggie's.

Ok.
Didn’t every sentient person know that Tigerland is a little rough?

Let me try a different approach.
Should the 17 YO have been admitted into Reggie's? No - underage
Should Washington have been admitted into Reggie's? No - should have been in jail for a previous rape (some assumptions being made here).
So neither of the two who are actually accused of raping her should have been inside Reggie's on 1/14/23.

Another video released trying to excuse the behavior of the rapists.

100% of the responsibility is on the perps.
So yes.

She was talking (incoherently, it seemed) to the perpetrators. She may have been saying she wanted to get out of the car, I couldn’t be sure. I believe the defense attorneys were saying “See? She was ok, it wasn’t rape “.

Defense trying to have the trial in the media tells a lot. They know that they lose with all evidence available to jury, so gotta let out brief videos to persuade the jury pool

It was definitely coherent and in line with what that Angel poster said. She apparently called the driver a fig. The video shows her asking to get out of the car and apologizing and stating she would call an Uber. Someone else asks with what phone.
