It seems she was honest enough based on who she knows here. If her source was her kids as she claimed and they’ve been talking, then it’s certainly not totally reliable but it’s also been very close to what Nak (aka the defense team’s proxy I guess) has said.

I haven’t seen the video. You want me to give an opinion on a video I haven’t seen? Where did it start? Where did it stop? Were there gaps? Did it show her getting out? What else did it show?
Maybe Nakamoto is correct. I don’t know that. You don’t know that.

I am not sure why this is a big deal regardless. I said early on it was possible she was so drunk that she couldn’t explain where she lived

You seem extremely trusting of anonymous message board posters, defense attorneys, reporters and accused rapists.
You have, multiple times (perhaps dozens of times), referred to statements by the above entities has facts, proof, “things we know” etc, even using their statements to “correct” other posters.

It’s important to the defense to show that they attempted to take her home. It could absolutely backfire for them when the prosecution points out she was too drunk to accurately tell them where to go though. Either way, it shows her state of mind and theirs. The prosecution probably likes a narrative where they show no remorse and made no attempt to get her somewhere safely. While the defense will want a jury to think they made every attempt to get her where she wanted and then when she wanted to get out they did as she wished. That is their theme. That they only did what she wanted.

According to one comment it was a sister from her sorority who worked behind the bar and serve Madison some of the alcohol.
Serving to minor, serving someone intoxicated - some issues there and why didn't this person give her a ride home. Or is she the young woman in jeans we see approaching the group in the Sadvocate's screen capture close up video?
That girl was approaching them possibly to tell Madison she'd give her a ride but they'll have to track her down. Her testimony could cut either way.
Not sure what other friends were there but she never should have been left alone in that state or had to face the choice of catching a ride with random guys.

“This entire experience has truly made me see how many evil people there are in the world. I have always seen the world through rose colored glasses and those glasses have been ripped off and stomped on. Individuals who do not know any details or the extent of the situation have been the ones who are so quick to point fingers and judge others. When in reality the “men” who should have been taking care of her, took advantage of her. Madi touched so many people’s lives. She was the most hilarious, lively person I had ever met. The first time I met her, in the Mandeville High cafeteria, I remember thinking, “Wow, I wish that I could be as outgoing and confident as she is. I wish I could be like her.” Because she had met me with such enthusiasm and grace. There is no doubt that her friends cared about her immensely and would’ve done anything to prevent this. Be mindful when you are posting on social media because I guarantee her friends and family are seeing all of it. And that is the last thing anyone in this community needs.
