Because it matters to the result. It’s a shitty lawyer who doesn’t understand both sides of a case. And I guarantee the prosecutor will think about these things when deciding how to charge them and whether to plead them.

If you can’t see that, well, I guess nothing will help.

I’ve said many times I think they go to jail. When they do, it won’t be because of you and Roger the Stubby’s “opinions.” It will be on cold hard analysis of the whole case.

Are we now going to argue that every lab result was wrong from her hospital admission?

I’m saying I wouldn’t be surprised if the defense punches some holes in the BAC. They have to. What the hell else could they do?

If the BAC is truly clean, the defense is weak.

Now here’s a technical question. Does blood loss affect BAC? It’s a question worth asking.

If they used a swab to disinfect the area where they drew blood and that swab has alcohol in it, it’s possible they contaminated it.

The biggest thing is going to be the video of what took place inside the car. The defense atty is saying it shows it was consensual, which is pretty much impossible considering her BAC.

Honestly? The endless repetition of things as “facts” that aren’t, the wanton naïveté about how things actually work, well, it pissed me off a little.

At what point can the Prosecutor see that video?

What if it does and it’s post sex? The defense seem pretty confident about it, and this is what they’ve suggested.

No one is supporting him. He’s a huge piece of shite. You are confusing “support” with arguing that the case isn’t as clear cut as you think it is.

I’m sure the prosecutor has seen it if the judge has.

Only way it could have been affected from IV fluids is if they drew the blood from above the IV site. Alcohol swab used to draw blood "could" affect the results, but not very much. Hopefully they cleaned with betadine. That's what I always did and made damn sure I charted it was cleaned with betadine as well. IV fluids never did too much to sober drunks up in the ER. Only time helped.

Just kinda pathetic you say it's going tp be your at posts and don't even make it a few minutes without posting. Nothing in the thread has changes, so spare me the excuse of massive "facts" needing correcting.

Next time, don't pretend you're leaving. No one believed you.

Jesus Christ

How do you know Kaivon?

The straws y’all are grasping at the discredit a lab test drawn in a hospital are pathetic. I can’t wait to bump this thread and quote all of y’all when the full details of all his crimes come out.

Your study does not prove that my comment was wrong.

First, I never said the fluids had ANY effect on blood alcohol CLEARANCE. I said that the added fluids to her blood would dilute the sample, making it appear less than it was.

They study you reference is referring to a BREATH test measurement of BAC levels. I promise that they drew blood, she was likely unable to provide a breathalyzer test after being hit by a car. The BLOOD SAMPLE would likely be diluted, being that fluids were added to it.

Take a look here

quote:

The intravenous fluids will, to some extent, dilute blood constituents, including any alcohol present.

Alcohol to clean the site is not effecting the result more than 0.1

How much alcohol do you think can enter the tip of a hypodermic needle? The inner diameter of an 18 gauge needle is 0.033 inches.

This whole conversation is asinine

Dude. I’m just talking about what can affect the number. You keep saying I’m trying to defend someone. How many times do I have to tell you I think they’re guilty?
