I’m scared to post anymore. Choupique19 might get upset and write another novel of a post

Things are settled at trial.
The facts are settled. She was falling over drunk by the boys own admission, and you're still here trying to dispute that.
This isn't a verdict, its public opinion. You're still stuck on Friday, and its Sunday night. The kids sealed their own fate, they will be fortunate to skate.
If more facts come in, you can trot out your old tired routine again.
the kids knew she was fricked up in their own words.

Probably had IVF wide open once first responders got to her, this would likely reduce the bac level on blood draw at hospital.
Exactly. You would have to make the absurd claim that the lab machine was malfunctioning.
You could make that dumbass claim in every legal case. It’s irrelevant.

Got it. Had not seen that.
That leaves the question of liver damage, however it cuts.

Your assumptions are just that assumptions. You have medical training but you were still terrified of Covid and wanted the country completely locked down because we were two weeks behind Italy. You don’t know shite.

You’ve been having some bad bad takes last few pages.

But with what the defense knows, they are hammering on that video and attacking the BAC. I see why.
Let’s not exclude the possibility that the defense is retarded.

They should, it’s their job. We will see, I suspect this won’t go to trial.
I think the anal penetration will show a lot of tissue tear. Something that most people don’t find appealing.

No one posting right now made that claim to the best of my knowledge. Keep clinging to those straws though

She was alive when blood work was drawn.
Do we know that?
Yes, from the affidavit on Page 1 of this thread.

On January 19, 2023, I received a copy of the victim's medical records from the time of her admittance to the hospital on January 15, 2023.
That sample of her blood is where the .319 BAC came from.
The Brooks family has set up a charitable foundation in her name per her obituary:

No, that doesn’t leave the question of liver damage. The liver processes alcohol. Liver damage would delay or prohibit alcohol clearance.
You are grasping for straws.

You keep saying that. Not to be a snarky, but can you point to the part of the constitution that says you can go to jail based on the consensus of a message board?
In the real world, trial is all that matters.

Not I. Kidnapping can occur even if she willingly gets in a car.
Whoever decided that was really fricking stupid.

Exactly. And if she still had liquor in her stomach, her BAC would climb after her injury.

In conclusion, this literature review indicates that trauma and massive blood loss exert insignificant effects on a person's BAC and rate of ethanol metabolism. However, if alcohol remains unabsorbed in the stomach when the trauma occurs, the reduced splanchnic circulation will tend to slow down and delay absorption of alcohol into portal venous blood. Much will depend on the quantity of ethanol unabsorbed in the stomach when the trauma occurs and the type of emergency treatment given. If trauma injuries or the life-saving surgical treatment interrupts hepatic blood flow, this will diminish the rate of ethanol metabolism. The information contained in this review should be of interest to forensic practitioners called to testify about interpreting BAC in victims of trauma or to perform various forensic BAC calculations, such as back extrapolation, in pathological states such as hypovolemia and hemodilution.

We're discussing public opinion based on the known facts because most of the facts aren't available to us.
Using known facts, that you continue to rehash over and over and over and over....

Why don’t you explain to us how the BAC could be wrong.
You don’t even have a hypothesis. You just think because the defense said they don’t believe it that it’s possible that the lab test could be wrong.
