Not an expert since I have zero rape charges in my over 40 yrs of life, but how does an 18 yr old have TWO and he is still feeling empowered to continue?
Considering nothing happened, that would explain why he was empowered.

Epic failure of those we trust to hold predators accountable.
Jason Ard has a solid record doing this.

You can’t by a beer at ages 18-20 yet you are put in a dangerous position of being responsible for a million dollar aircraft WITH the ability to kill people….
Please tell me about this double standard.
you may be a little off on that. 18-20 YOs may serve, but it appears they aren't in charge of airlplanes WITH the ability to kill people.

The average Air Force Pilot is 46 years old. 67% of Air Force Pilots are 40+ years old or older, 26% are between the ages of 30-40 years, and 6% are between 20-30 years
I would assume its the same way in all branches given the training necessary to become an aviator.
Doesn't matter what the legal drinking age is. 18-20YOS are going to drink. No one is gonna change that anytime soon.
Unless the regs have changed recently, you can enter Army Aviation Warrant officer training at 18. You'd probably be 19 or older by the time you graduate, but still under 21. Of course the aircraft maintainers in all the services are pretty young, many under 21. How well they do their job is a matter of life and death.

The owners are never present in bars like these. They usually have a post college aged manager but even that guy can't be there 7 nights a week. The operation of the place has been in place for decades.
Never present is probably for plausible deniability to be used under worse case scenarios like this.
Responsible managers choose to be present to observe operations, particularly on high volume occasions. This is how you take something good and make it better.
Delegation of some responsibilities has to happen, but you don’t hang your middle managers out to dry. You protect them by being there as often as you can and give them feedback on things you want them to change.
Bar owner now stands to lose a lot more in a settlement or possibly the loss of this entire revenue stream when all he has to do was take action to address the culture of tolerance for underage drinking. Underage drinkers are not exactly known for their big spending. Loss of revenue would have probably been 2-3 digits to the right of a decimal in a percentage.

2 charges of rape have previously been filed against him
I asked previously why this predator (Washington) was still allowed in civilized society and why does it appear that Jason Ard’s police department is lenient on sexual assaults? Remember…. If it wasn’t written down, it never happened

Yea, it's all cool since she DIDN"T die OF alcohol poisoning.
That's a bizarre way of twisting words, but Ok.

And we don't know if she would've, had she not been hit by a car. She could've been breaking down from the alcohol at that point.
She could have. She also could not have. We'll only ever know that she died because she was hit by a car. And before you say that doesn't happen if she isn't blackout drunk, we don't know that either. A 73 year old black lady was run over not to far from there just a few days ago at 7:15pm.

but they certainly bear some level of responsibility
Without knowing for certain how she got her drinks, I'm just not ready to say that. IF this is the level that makes you culpable for her death, a whole lot of people and entities need to be held accountable to.
The bar is simply an easy target to not have to focus on the hard issues that need fixing in BR.

I'm surprised that no one posted a link to Washington's address yet.

I was having a Chad moment. I took issue with his analogy cause I've never heard of a person 18-20 being the PIC of a military plane. Ride in one, definitely. In charge of one, not so much.

I would guess underage people account for 2/3 of Reggie's revenue, between drinks bought and cover charges.
If you are 21, the only reason to go there is to buy drinks for freshman chicks.

Look no further than the comments here and WAFB as to why charges aren't pursued:
-she did it and then regretted
-her fault for being drunk
-what proof is there? her word vs. his?
-her sexual history? (people brought that up here)
-her family and friends knowing?
-appearing in court to testify?
-defense attorney trashing her ('she consented') in media?
That's why most rapes go unreported.

According to podcast, there was a First Degree rape charge reduced to simple rape that's pending.
Was another rape charge as well.
They read the online swimming pool incident (shared here and elsewhere) and not sure if the official charges of rape related to those or not. Would make since if so as First Degree would have been charged based on the age of alleged victim.

Geez this is tough to listen to. If this is all true, he's a serial predator and has raped like 5+ people.

Its far easier to believe women who don't have a financial motive.
