I bet he gets his deal too. You know LP sheriff’s department doesnt want him going to trial, and all the info becoming more publicized.

and the article says his lawyer is asking, not that the state is offering

Yeah, I'm sure there's some nasty shite that hasn't come out publicly that they really would rather not pile on top of the already unthinkable shite that's already out there.
I wouldn't let them plea to a damn thing. Present every last disgusting detail out and put them away for a very long time.

if they get a plea it will be because of that.
there are children involved here, at minimum they should be protected from further damage
neither one of those two will ever see a free street again, plea or no plea

I think I'd mentioned when this first came to light that one of my children was a student of Cynthia Perkins at the time. I was completely beside myself when I first heard the rumors about the cupcakes. Thankfully we did not get a call from the school board. I can't imagine what those parents and children went through, or trying to explain that kind of thing to a bunch of angry parents out for blood.

I do and wasn't really talking about making children testify in open court, but if they've uncovered some things on hard drives and can protect the identities of underage victims that may be shown in video evidence or text messages. Something along those lines.
No I'm not advocating for putting underage victims on the stand.

I watched 5 and 8 year old boys testify in court about their grandfather raping them, fricking brutal. The 8 year old clammed up and wouldn't say a word while his grandfather stared at him the whole time, the 5 year old just kind of described it matter of fact like because he had no understanding of what happened to him

I assume he will be going to angola right? He will probably have to end up being put in the hole because a pedophile cop who jizzed in cupcake batter in which his wife cooked then brought to her students to eat and who sexually abused animals along with anything else he did.. Will likely have a hard time making friends in prison.

95-97% of cases plea out. It's not some big deal. It will probably be for 40 years, min or possibly a life plea.

Tough call for the state when you think about the kids involved. Its better for the kids to not have everything put in public record, but Perkins deserves the max possible and shouldn't get a plea down.
