i do. Quite a bit. DSPD does not patrol the interstate.Main reason why is in order for them to get any money from catching someone speeding, the offender has to be doing over 10mph for the city to keep any of the money. It's a State mandate. Mow the LP sheriffs has been seen from time to time around Juban but they rarely patrol the interstate either

You're wrong on this one...I see one sitting in between Juban and Denham every day...Sometimes in a car Westbound, sometimes on a douchecycle Eastbound...They DO patrol that stretch, and I DO argue with my wife that they should not be...

I assume that since they occasionally have people pulled over on that same stretch, that they are...

ETA: I have more recently seen LSP on the Juban overpass signalling the chase car below, but DS finest no doubt, patrols that stretch

Sounds like the state needs to do an audit on the PD like they did the Washington Parish PD. They were busted keeping all speeding fines collected from interstate stops. Cried racism when the state came after their money.

I believe they do go and shoot radar when working federal grants.

As soon as you enter LP from BR on I-12 DSPD owns the interstate all the way to Juban Rd. They work all crashes on that stretch of the interstate.

I've wondered if motorcycle cops are worth the extra risk honestly. Too many distractions for drivers today.

The FACT is they are waiting on a second brain scan to confirm. That FACT is that scan had not taken place as of your previous post. Until such time as the scan is complete, he is not. GFY!
