Good point. Not sure what i was thinking.

I still think it wont last, but clearly my justification above was probably wrong.

should have been that way a LONG time ago!!

damn straight! i hate all those fat fricks spilling out into the aisle when i'm trying to wiggle my way halfway through the plane with a carry on.

then they give you this go-to-hell luck if you rub against their fat legs and arms protruding into the aisle.

Air travel has come to a near-complete halt in the United States as the coronavirus pandemic crests on each coast, ripping through cities like New York City and Seattle and surging inward.

Delta, one of the world's largest airlines in 2019, said in a memo Friday that it's seen a 95% reduction in demand, resulting in nearly 80% of its flights being canceled, following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention against domestic travel from certain states.

Despite the cancellations, a handful of flights are still shepherding passengers across the country for necessary travel.

Pull their crap out of your overhead space and leave it in the aisle.
"your" overhead space doesn't exist.

Rich people in first class don’t get to board first that way. Letting the poors in first and letting them take overhead space

True first class won't be affected.

It ain't first class if you don't turn left.

Finally. And don't allow jackasses to put their bags in front of where their seat is and loading would go so much more smoothly.

I don’t see how this is humanly possible.

I wonder if you did rear to front window seats, then center, then aisle, would be most efficient.

The most efficient way is a sort of zigzag pattern. It's on YouTube if you're interested.

i'm not buying this.

I’d prefer the poors to get on first, so I do not have to sit on the plane any longer than necessary. My bin space is reserved, so they cannot take it up. This just makes sense.

I generally wait to get on last when I’m not in first class.
I have no desire to sit there one second longer than I have to.
I’ve had boarding agent say come on mr lee, let’s go numerous times.

In the end, the team found the methods using the so-called "WILMA" method — in which window passengers are boarded first, followed by middle-seat flyers and finally travelers sitting in aisle seats — to be the most effective. The best combination of speed and consumer enjoyment came from the "reverse pyramid" method, which notched a time of 15.10 minutes and a satisfaction score of 113. This approach boards the aircraft from the back to the front and from the window seats in.

Not opposed to that.

Someone tell me why they don’t number the bin space to correspond to the seats? Put your shite above your seat. If you dump it in the first spot you see then the guy at that spot has to put his behind his seat location and will have to swim against the tide (holding up the whole plane) on arrival. Just put your shite where you sit and everyone is fine.

1st class should sit back at the lounge drinking free shite or whatever and get called last. That would be a win win.

No shite... why would you put your bag anywhere besides right above you?
Just another reason I hate flying.
