Corner of Goodwood and Sherwood and still no power. 16 people and it’s the same grid that fails every time there is bad weather. Would take 5 minutes to fix and yet here we are going past 24 hours with no actual update.

Makes me want to install a full-home generator so I’m not dependent on the Entergy clowns to get me back up and running.

Not hurricane related - reside in North Texas - but had same issue with TXU. A bird would fly by and BOOM, never failed. Ultimately had to write TXU and ask them how many times must something fail before you realize there is a core problem? They have resolved the core problem....thankfully

Somehow I never lost internet throughout Laura but it went out around 1 yesterday.

Still waiting on electricity too but hopefully won’t be that long.

Power has been out since 6pm on Friday here in BR. Came back for about 20min around 5pm yesterday and then back off. Rumor is it's gonna take them another day to fix...

Back up here in Watson / NW LP. Demco went out for an hour or so early in the storm, came back for a few hours, then went offline for good around 11PM. Finally came back online around 7PM the following day.

We had generators running the fridges, freezers, and lights, so it wasn't too bad. But, if lights had stayed out again for last night, that'd start to be a problem.

Still nothing here in Perry — 4:10 pm be 48 hours. Generator going and we’re in the pool house. Not complaining as we can cook and shower but it’d be nice to be normal again. Can’t work from home without internet.

Damage assessment in Vermilion parish per entergy webistenis 0% complete.

Hope this hurricane season is over fricking sick of it.

We'll have to deal with at least one more Gulf/WCAB system before the season finally dies.

Probably not that one but conditions will remain favorable for another system to spin up in the Gulf/WCAB for a bit longer.

NHC says 10% in 24 hours
20% in 5 days

I imagine that will increase over the week as at least a few models show it developed in the Gulf next week

At least this time around that’s an option. Between all the down lines and heat for Laura, I couldn’t get that generator going fast enough.

Idk. Delta didn’t blow Laura’s debris where we are.

Oh yeah, and I’m grateful for it.... just seeing post on here and Facebook last night about people getting power so quickly around SLC made me happy for them. I hope to be happy for myself real soon
